Photoelectric smoke detector ZI-S 817

The first sign of a fire is smoke, and therefore the most widely used product in fire alarm systems is a smoke detector. The absorption coefficient of ZI-S 817 model smoke detectors is within the permitted standard range and reacts quickly to all types of smoke (white and black smoke caused by the ignition of all materials). The work of this detector is based on photoelectric signal processing. The entry of smoke into the detector chamber causes the light emitted from the transmitter to reach the receiver and the fire alarm is made. The body of the detector is made of special heat-resistant ABS with a beautiful design that fits the architecture of the buildings.

Two LEDs with 360-degree visibility show the detector’s performance, with green flashing indicating normal operation and steady red LED indicating fire status. Behind the detector, enough space is provided for the entry of the zone wires and the remote indicator, and this allows the installer to easily install the detector. In addition, the double elevator contacts allow for standard connections. Environmental noises, and specifically electromagnetic noises, are the most important cause of false alarms in fire alarm systems.

The software and hardware measures provided on the detector make full protection against these noises. F.A.P technology absolutely does not allow false alarms. Reflector box and microprocessors are what give this capability to the detector. Therefore, you can have 100% confidence in the performance of the detector. The presence of moisture and corrosive substances is one of the most inevitable components of environmental conditions. The protective layer on the circuits and the chrome plating on the metal parts prevent corrosion and malfunction of the detector. The circuits used are double-layer metallized fiberglass and SMT technology is used to assemble parts on the circuits.
